Included under our definition of "clean energy" are: renewable energy technologies and applications (e.g. wind, solar, fuel cells, geothermal, wave); energy efficiency and storage technologies; renewable and sustainable materials; and pollution control and waste management. We therefore have a relatively broad definition of "clean energy" while being aware that even within this definition some of these technologies and appliations will still be "cleaner" than others. In selecting our investments we will be sensitive to the life-cycle environmental impact of the technologies.
